Harbor Country is the southwesterly portion of Berrien County, Michigan, which includes Michiana, Grand Beach, New Buffalo, Union Pier, Lakeside, Harbert, Sawyer and Three Oaks. Beginning at the Michigan state line, these tightly knit, yet individual, communities encompass a stretch of about 15 miles north along Lake Michigan and 6 miles inland.
We are just over an hour drive from downtown Chicago, a half hour from South Bend and Benton Harbor, and closer than most trips to the airport for many businesses.
From Chicago:
Take I-94 into Michigan. Choose from exits 1, 4, 6 and 12.
From Northern Michigan:
Take highway 196 and merge onto I-94. Choose from exits 1, 4, 6 and 12.
