Winter Fun Activities in Harbor Country

Grab a big tube and head for the hills. Harbor Country offers you and your family exciting wintertime fun. Head out Tower Hill at Warren Dunes or enjoy a specially constructed 400-foot local tubing hill. The hill at Five Pines is even lighted for nighttime fun!

Local trails vary from hilly to flat open land in beautiful wooded countryside. Anyone from a pure beginner to the experienced skier can enjoy an afternoon on these local trails. Choose from groomed and electrically lit ski trails for night skiing and undisturbed and ungroomed natural trails.

The snowmobile trails are open from New Buffalo Michigan to Galien Michigan. These local snowmobiling and recreational trails are very well marked. There is a trailhead in Three Oaks and in Galien. Find trails and current conditions for all of Michigan's snowmobiles routes and trails.

Love the buzz of an exciting Casino? Gaming fans will find a Vegas-caliber casino set deep in the woods at Four Winds Casino - a must-see attraction. Built in 2007, the Four Winds Casino and Resort has a half-dozen restaurants and a 165-room hotel making it the lastest Harbor Country destination!

Recently restored historic performing arts theater in Three Oaks, Michigan. The Acorn is known for bringing talented international acts to Harbor Country through a diverse array of performances included music, dance and off-broadway shows.

Harbor Country offers some fantastic hiking trails in Warren Woods, Chikaming Township Park & Preserve, and Warren Dunes State Park. New Buffalo Beach offers miles of pristine lakefront for beach walkers. Nearby Love Creek also offers excellent year-round fun on the trails!

Cross-Country ski and snowshoe rental available every day but Monday & Tuesday at Madeline Bertrand Country Park. The park also offers 3 miles of trails groomed and electrically lit. Night skiing on Friday and Saturday.
